Schadle CEO departures Schadle departs FPA Lauren Schadle has stepped down after nearly 20 years with the Financial Planning Association, including eight years as CEO and executive director. Patrick Mahoney, former chief marketing officer for IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) was named interim CEO while the FPA board searches for Schadle's successor. Before heading up FPA, Schadle was the association's COO and associate executive director for 12 years. Membership in the Denver-based association has declined in recent years, according to reports.
